I am currently a Ph.D. student at the Graduate Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering, Kyushu University, supervised by Prof. Seiichi Uchida. I’m studying deep learning, computer vision at Human Interface Laboratory. My research interests lie in symbol recognition and its applications, particularly focusing on visual symbols such as characters. I explore the potential of deep learning for symbol recognition.

Jun 7, 2025 Our paper Computer-Aided Multi-Stroke Character Simplification by Stroke Removal has been accepted at International Conference on Document Analysis and Recognition (ICDAR2025@China).
Jun 1, 2025 Our work has been accepted for an oral presentation at the Meeting on Image Recognition and Understanding (MIRU2025)! 🎉 (The presentation is scheduled for July 29th - August 1st, at Kyoto.)
